  • Background:
    Dr. Hector Menendez III is an interdisciplinary agriculturist and mathematical modeler who lives in Texas. Hector received his Doctorate of Biological Sciences at South Dakota State University in 2018. He has since been a post-doctoral researcher at Texas A&M College Station for the Department of Animal Science-Beef Cattle Nutrition as a modeler working on beef cattle water use sustainability. Currently, he is a post-doctoral researcher with the United States Department of Agriculture-U.S. Dairy Forage Center and in partnership with Cornell University as a research agriculturist/modeler for the Ruminant Farm Systems Model (RuFaS). Hector is a proud and grateful husband and father.
