Eric Young

Eric grew up on a dairy farm in central New York state. Before joining ARS-DFRC-EIDMRU in 2018 as a research soil scientist, he was a research agronomist at the William H. Miner Agricultural Research Institute for nine years. Eric’s research evaluates agronomic and environmental aspects of carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus cycling in dairy forage cropping systems. He has a passion for soil conservation with over 25 years of nutrient management systems research and extension experience.
